Jason Brown

Director—Retail Leasing

With over 25 years of experience in the commercial property market in Australia, Jason has provided leasing services and strategic direction to several of Australia’s leading institutional owners including AMP, QIC, Westfield, and Stockland.

Providing retail property advisory with a focus on leasing, with added capability in feasibility development, peer review and design, and project delivery his value proposition is focused on creating great places, through institutional thinking with speed to market and personal engagement.

More recent experience includes the successful repositioning of the neighbourhood, sub-regional and regional shopping centre assets, and completing fresh food developments, casual dining precincts and other retail remix projects. His relationships with key tenants across Australia provide a knowledge base and scope of influence to service a broader range of clients in the execution of highly successful projects.

Michael Belfield, Director of Property Management, HR, and Compliance for Argus Asset Services

Michael Belfield

Director—Property Management, HR and Compliance

Michael has been involved in the retail and shopping centre industries since 1994, including Centre Manager roles for DB REEF/Dexus, Stockland and ING Real Estate.

Employed as General Manager by the Shayher Group, he was instrumental in establishing the Wynnum Retail Management (WRM) business.
Michael was responsible for all facets of the shopping centre business including staff management and development, asset and property management, leasing and retail mix strategies, stakeholder communication, development of new and existing shopping centres / mixed-use assets (from initial concept), strategic planning, due diligence and acquisition.

With over 30 years of experience, Vaughn has unmatched expertise in property strategy and delivery. Previously, he was the General Manager of Leasing at Stockland, and held senior positions at Westfield.

Vaughn is without a doubt one of, if not the most, experienced retail property specialist in the Australia.

Lisa Wood

Director—Asset Management

Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of asset management gained in both domestic and international roles. More specifically, she has held senior management roles spanning asset management, Retail Strategy, Leasing, Marketing, Major Capital Projects, along with the day-to-day operation of Super Regional, Regional and Sub-Regional Shopping Malls.

Roles during this time have been with companies such as Westfield (now Scentre Group) and CapitaLand who are market leaders in their respective markets. Lisa has held roles in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Her passion is optimising asset performance to drive owner returns and creating quality trusting relationships with all stakeholders, from owners and retailers to the asset teams. Lisa holds a Graduate Certificate in Marketing.

Paul Davies

Head of Finance

Paul’s international experience, working in a wide spectrum of sectors and industries, has enabled him to be a versatile, commercially astute and decisive leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Offering over 20 year’s professional experience as a Senior Executive Officer, Manager & Finance Professional, Paul has an established reputation of driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of management systems, implementation of process improvements and managing financial and non-financial teams.

Kirsten Belfield

Administration Manager

Kirsten has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in the retail and hospitality industries. During her seven-year tenure with WC Penfold Stationers, Kirsten excelled in various roles, from Assistant Store Manager in North Sydney to achieving the prestigious Store Manager of the Year award at the Elizabeth Street Concept Store. Her success extended to higher management positions, culminating in her role as Regional Manager overseeing Sydney CBD stores, including the flagship store on Pitt Street.

After her remarkable achievements in the retail sector, Kirsten brought her expertise to The Body Shop, where she served as a Store Manager. Notably, she played a pivotal role in setting up a new concept store in Westfield Eastgardens and successfully trained a new team. Following this, she briefly ventured into corporate recruitment as a Recruitment Consultant at JJ & Assoc., contributing her skills to the corporate sector. Kirsten also spent two years with Fairchild, specializing in financial planning and property sales, where she served as the Administration Manager for two financial planners.

Cara is an accomplished Executive Assistant with over 20 years of
experience in providing exceptional support to high-level executives.

Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to both Michael Belfield and Jason Brown, Cara has honed her skills in efficiently managing complex administrative tasks. Her extensive background in office management allows her to seamlessly handle diverse responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of daily business activities. In her role, Cara is entrusted with overseeing all aspects of office management, showcasing her keen organizational abilities and attention to detail.

She excels in coordinating executive schedules, managing correspondence, and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion. Cara’s proactive approach and excellent communication skills contribute to fostering a productive and cohesive work environment. Her wealth of experience and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset in supporting the dynamic needs of executives in a fast-paced and demanding
professional setting.
