Three of the Top 13 Urban List secured by Argus

Did you see the news?

The Urban List recently published the 13 most exciting new retailers set to open in Brisbane, and Jason and Sara have been responsible for some of the most exciting.

These include Rise Bakery, Fosh and Rosé Gelateria, all heading to Portside Wharf in Hamilton.

When taking over this portfolio mid-last year, the team agreed with Brookfield Properties on the strategy and then actively targeted those retailers to fulfil the brief.

Using their proven methodologies and business approach, the team were able to secure the right retailers on the right commercial terms.

Check out what the Urban List had to say about these new additions.

Rise Bakery, Hamilton

Rise Bakery – Hamilton – Rise Bakery is one of the Gold Coast’s best bakeries, having opened in early 2022 and quickly garnering a loyal following—and now it’s heading to Brisbane.

Opening in April at Portside Wharf, this next-level French pastry emporium will be dishing out French classics such as pain au chocolat, baguettes and—of course—absolutely cracking croissants, alongside a selection of danishes, slices, quiches and other moreish baked goods.

Not just a grab and go spot, you’ll be able to scoff your treats in an indoor dining space or on the alfresco terrasse, with an elegant French-inspired fit out featuring dreamy whites, soft pinks and accents of gold, designed by Clui Design and built by Lowry Group.

We hear there’s also going to be a champagne bar—stay tuned for details when they open.

Rosé Gelateria, Hamilton

It’s all going on at Portside Wharf—not only is Rise currently taking shape in the precinct, but another Gold Coast dessert slinger is also set to move on in, with Rose Gelateria opening in June.

This pastel pink artisanal gelato wonderland already has two stores on the coast, in Sanctuary Cove and Main Beach, and will now be bringing the full range of their popular gelato flavours to Brisbane, including their creamy rose gelato made with rosewater and topped with rose petals, and their Biscoff gelato drizzled with caramel.

We’re told the store itself will feature their signature rose-coloured walls, white furnishings and gold accents, ensuring a dreamy setting in which to scoop up that gelato, or nibble on the other treats on offer.

Fosh, Hamilton

Fosh retailers

If you’re a fan of Opa Bar + Mezze, Massimo Restaurant & Bar and Yamas Greek + Drink, not to mention the iconic George’s Paragon, then you’ll want to know about the latest venue from the team behind them all.

Despite being busy organising the relocation of Fatcow Steak & Lobster and Rico Bar + Dining, which recently closed due to the redevelopment of Eagle Street Pier, they’re preparing to open yet another restaurant, this time a seafood-centric spot in Portside Wharf, Hamilton.

With a $3 million fit-out underway, Fosh will have a Hamptons-inspired design and an alfresco dining area by the river, perfect for relaxed dining with your crew. Fosh is set to open in March, so stay tuned for details or follow them for updates here
